Natalie

Pack a farm to table picnic lunch and snacks at Wild Gals Market in Naturita and then drive 15 minutes down the road to hike The Shamrock Trail. This incredible canyon hike offers views of the Hanging Flume, San Miguel River and ends at the confluence of the San Miguel and Dolores Rivers. On a summer day, I like to pack a swimming suit and take a dip in the red rock canyon followed by lunch on the beach like area. After getting back to V, I head on down to Flying Bear Pizza in Naturita for a salad and return to a campfire with a night of star bathing under the dark sky.

Jodie

Wake up with the sunrise and enjoy the peace and quiet of the property while I journal and sketch. After a V burrito, I hit the CampV trail for a morning walk that ends at Lake V with some canoe time. Head on over to Vtrove creative space for an afternoon of creating art and being inspired by nature.

Howard

Coffee on the front porch and then a walk up the hill to the water tank for meditation and yoga and then a signing session in the tank. A quick email surf and then logoff for the day. Head to Miramonte for some fly fishing, with a stop in Naturita, Blondies for a Beyond Burger with waffle fries and a shake. Spend the day at Miramonte catching record breaking sized trout. These monsters are brought back to CampV where they are are wrapped in lemons, foil and love, and grilled up over the fire to be enjoyed on the back porch where the whole beautiful day started.”
