Where are you traveling from?

From the North

Driving from Denver, Colorado

There are multiple roadtrip options from Denver to CampV depending on the weather and amount of time you have.

One of our favorite roadtrips is following I-70 west until you reach Grand Junction, and then heading south along the Dolores River through Gateway Canyon. The canyon views are incredible and there are multiple pull-offs for photos, lunch, or soaking in the scenic views. You will lose service in this canyon, so be sure to have your directions and check-in instructions downloaded! Follow the river and keep an eye out for a CampV sign! If you end up in the town of Naturita, you’ll know you’ve driven a little too far. Turn right at the CampV sign and follow the road up past our glamping tents and turn right at the 2nd row of cabins. Keep an eye out for Cabin 9 where we will get you checked in!

A second option, is taking a roadtrip on Route 285. While this option takes about an hour more, we love the option to be off the main highway of I-70 and exploring mountain passes and mountain towns of the Rocky Mountains. Some of the gorgeous mountain towns you’ll drive through include Buena Vista, Gunnison, Montrose, and Ridgway. All of these towns are worth a stop over, so if you are tired from travel or want to explore, these are all great options to spend the night. If you have an SUV, you can split off the main highway in Montrose and drive onto Highway 90. This is a dirt road, so while it may be slower traveling, it is worth the amazing views and rural feel. This option is available in the summer only.
