Trail Building Day and 10 Year WETA Celebration
Join us to build the reroute to Creaky Knees at Camp V. Creaky Knees has been washed out several times now from dry creek washout, so we're building a new trail approx. a half mile long, staying high above dry creek, connecting Rust & Relaxation down to Highway 141. It's a pretty straightforward build of flowy green trail, and we should be able to build it and ride it in on Saturday!
Meet down at Highway 141 and Dry Creek Bridge (base of entrance to Camp V) at 9am. We'll provide the tools. You bring water, snacks, work gloves and sun protection. Since we'll also be riding in our work, bring your bike along!
The perks of joining a WETA trail build? We are offering free dispersed camping to trail buildin' volunteers + WETA is also going to be grilling burgers and dogs Saturday afternoon. Plan to stay, camp and hang out!

Sound Bath in Tank Town
Join local sound practitioners for a guided meditation in the old water tank turned yoga studio for deep relaxation and connection to spirit/soul/consciousness. While you're laying down or seated, sound circulates throughout your entire body and can clear out energetic blockages and mental patterns, by inviting your body into a balanced, harmonious state. In this relaxed, harmonious state, your rest-and-digest system is able to turn on for self-healing while the fight-flight-freeze system is allowed to rest. The sound vibrations create space inside your neural pathways and in the cells of your body, that will catalyze change in your physiology, help bring more emotional and mental clarity, and assist in overall wellbeing like better sleep cycles, stronger immunity and more capacity to process emotions and stressful situations.
Wear comfy warm layers, and bring something you can lay or sit down on.
Donations welcome. x

We are excited to welcome visiting artist Laurel Stern Boeck - an award-winning artist who is known as one of the nation’s foremost Portrait Painters for a community drawing workshop. Drawing supplies will be provided or students are welcome to bring their own art (or painting) supplies. This workshop is free and RSVP is recommended to stay@campv.com to ensure we have enough space.
This class is for those who are fascinated with capturing the likeness and character of a person.
From observation of the live model, we will examine the effect of light falling on the structures and forms of the head and figure. Additionally we will explore the use of atmosphere and background to craft finished drawings that convey depth and dimension.
Whether you are a practicing professional, a student, or a beginner, specific information will be given to each artist individually to help them reach their personal.

5:30-7pm, THURSDAYS this Fall in new VTrove Pavillion
$25 Suggested donation {includes hot tea}
Please bring: mat, blankets, cushion, layers and a mug
We'll start by tuning in together as we welcome you into the sacred space. Then we'll warm up with breathing exercises and light somatic movements to align the body and mind and prepare for meditation. The majority of the time will be spent relaxing and listening to the deep resonant vibrations of the gong. The sound of the gong travels through your energetic body, moving prana (chi) throughout the body and also moving thoughts through the mind. The sound harmonics create a state of resonance in the body that activates the parasympathetic nervous system so the body can rest and digest for optimal well being.
